Bright Hawk is the modern Sparkling Beast, a legendary Zoid said to become the Sealing Sword that would seal away the Bio Zoid scourge. When needed, it turns into a giant weapon wielded by the Shining Beast of this generation, Souga, the Liger Blue.

Sealing Sword Mode
In the true spirit of a story called "Generations", the Shining and Sparkling Beast are very much a tale of rebirth, and of power passing on. In legends, though no description was given of the Zoid, it was said to have large wings and to dance freely in the sky, believed to be a bird-type Zoid. The Bright Hawk is the Sparkling Beast of this generation, and as the legends foretold, was the one to seal Mother Bio away.
Each generation of the Sparkling Beast used the remainder of its strength to apply a seal, rendering Mother Bio dormant. However, to prolong this seal as much as possible, the Sparkling Beast itself would effectively cease to live, cutting all unnecessary functions and going dormant itself. It was only when the Zoid started to fade that the seal would weaken, allowing Mother Bio's awakening to begin. Once she had fully awakened, the Sparkling Beast would be reborn in the fashion of a Phoenix.

Chapter 7 ~ 8, Reincarnation
As the legend goes, when the previous Shining Beast and Sparkling Beast reach the end of their lifespan, a new generation of the pair is born. When the Bright Hawk was first born, it seems to have lied in wait within the caldera of the volcano that the Bio Zoids had emerged from. Though they began to spread across the world once more, it waited. As they began to evolve, still, it waited. Only when Seki, its destined pilot arrived at the volcano did it finally break free from its chamber and take to the skies. The heat from its prolonged slumber had made the Zoid so intensely hot that it wasn't able to land on the ground until the next morning, fearful that it would otherwise accidentally light the forest ablaze. Once landed, Seki took control of the Zoid. She flew with it throughout the rest of their short, uninterrupted time together, while Senka, a Zoids doctor evaluated it for overall health. Bright Hawk received Senka's approval, seemingly undamaged by the magma.
Once the battle commenced the Sparkling Beast provided recon from the air, keeping an eye out for Bio Zoids while they tried to make their way to the Mother Bio. After Souga was nearly killed by the beast there was a brief opening, courtesy of their brave friends drawing their enemy's attention. The Bright Hawk reconfigured, its body becoming the Sealing Sword. It fell from the air, and once Souga caught it, his armor was reformed as the Shiro Shouzoku.
The time had finally come to seal the Mother Bio. When Souga drove the Sealing Sword into her jaws, the effects took hold. Souga, the Sealing Sword, and Mother Bio all tumbled into the volcano's depths. The Sealing Sword sank into the magma along with the Bio Zoid, but thanks to the Shiro Shouzoku's heat protection Midori, Souga, and even the Bright Hawk's pilot, Seki (who jumped into Souga's cockpit at the last second), were able to swim to safety. This revealed why the Sparkling Beast had been in those depths all along. It was the only way to keep Mother Bio bound to her prison.

- The Bright Hawk was said to be created by humans for the purpose of sealing Mother Bio, so it's said that it must've been a BLOX Zoid, as these were the only Zoids created fully by human hand.

Bright Hawk's only major media appearance is in the Zoids Generations art book, one of the longest stories in the franchise. In case this bio read as a little unusual for Zoids, Generations is a fantasy-focused story which has a strong emphasis on magical themes. Within the story the Bright Hawk is one of two legendary Zoids, said to be the only ones capable of stopping the terrifying spread of Bio Zoids.
