- Military History

The Canory Molga joined the Guylos Empire in trying to end Rob Base once and for all. They knew that the endless reinforcements organizing at the base would lead to a prolonged war if they didn't act immediately, and already struggling with supply line issues they made the decision to launch an all-out attack. They waited until stormy weather to limit the Republic's aerial Zoids, then charged in.

The battle, however, was fraught with danger beyond what they'd anticipated. Mercenaries hired by the Republic, many of them in small ridable Attack Zoids instead of full-blown war machines placed countless traps around the battlefield. The Empire's Zoids were lured into traps and pitfalls, quagmired in the mud brought on by the storm. Reinforcements from the sea, which the Empire had been eagerly awaiting, got held up by the Republic's new Hammer Head and didn't arrive until the end of the battle. In the end, with little supplies left, the Empire was forced to retreat, aggressively pursued by the reinvigorated Republican Army.

The Republic's Ultra Saurus was making its way toward Nyxie Base. Though the Empire knew they had to stop it, they decided to set up camp safely outside of enemy range. They'd rest and wait for their enemies to clear the remaining 100 kilometers, then face them head on. However, in the middle of the night, the camp erupted with a blinding explosion. A single shot from the Ultra's 1200 mm Ultra Cannons vaporized 300 Zoids within the epicenter of the impact site, and 700 more on the outskirts were set ablaze by the blast. A further 800 were severely damaged, with an additional 1,200 small-scale Zoids, such as the Canory Molgas among them suffering damage as well. It was a devastating loss for the Empire's leading force.

Canory Molgas were used in the defense of Nyxie Base. Unfortunately, this battle was recognized from the start as a lost cause. The Republic would take the base, and all the Empire could do was throw bodies at the invading enemies until the bulk of their forces had managed to escape.

In ZAC 2101, a number of violent skirmishes erupted across the Dark Continent. The Helic Republic was heading toward the Guylos capital, and Prozen was carefully orchestrating the direction of the war. Canory Molgas were seen in some of these battles, aiding the Empire.

• The Canory Molga has had a few names in its time, including Canory Molga (some old and most new texts), Canoly Molga (RMZ, an unfortunate product of mistranslations), Molga Canory (Genesis line), Cannonry Molga (Zoids Legacy, etc.), and Assault Molga (CoroCoro).

 
• The Molga Canory is said to also have greater transport capacity. It can transport more troops to the frontlines than the normal Molga, allowing it to make quick drop offs before rolling ahead to provide rear support with long-range bombardments.  ^[2]

 The Glide Cannon is a massive gun attached to the sides of the Molga, and appears to be a traditional shelling weapon. It has two points of articulation, one where it connects to the body and one where the cannon is attached to the side arms, both allowing it to tilt up and down. This provides a much wider firing range. The cannon is not only capable of ultra-long-distance bombardments but can also destroy a large-scale Zoid in a single hit.  ^[2]
