- Episode 2: The Mysterious Fiona

Summary

             

 While Bang enthusiastically invites Fine and his newly-acquired Zoids back to his home town, the Wind Colony, the bandits from his previous run-in are hot on his heels, determined to steal the mysterious wild Zoid that he has with him. To see this goal through to the end they kidnap his sister, arranging for an exchange.

- Notable Facts


  • Rosso's intentions for capturing Sieg was to use him as a ticket to earn his way back into the Empire.

  • The reason Fine got her name was because when Bang asked her who she was and, after failing to answer the question numerous times, she randomly rattled off the name. However, she seemed to have no recollection or understanding of why she'd said it, not actually recognizing it as her own name.

  • Fine has amnesia about who she is or where she came from, or even how she ended up in the pod.

  • Fine's first display of Ancient Zoidian abilities is to recognize the exact thread count of where Maria had made a mistake in her project. Later in the episode, she clasped her hands together and prayed for Sieg to wake up after an electrical shock, which he did.

  • Leon was a soldier in the Republican Army several years prior to the episode, and learned to carry a gun with him.

  • Without Sieg fused to the Shield Liger, it was both slower and unable to fire its missiles. Once he fused again, all of the Shield Liger's injuries healed.

  • At the end of the episode Bang chose to leave the Wind Colony, realizing people would continue to come for Sieg.
