- Episode 24: A Voice From Afar

Summary

To many the vortex of light that surrounds the Shield Liger is a point of fascination. The running theory is that Fine and Sieg are trying to resurrect the Zoid, but to some, the light represents a darker idea. A sense of abandonment. Bang leaves the group in the dust, running out into the desert sands on his hover board after expressing just how hurt he is that all of this is happening without him. That Sieg, nor Fine, wanted him to be a part of it. In his absence, Moonbay sees a stranger running through the desert, seemingly fleeing two Dark Horns, and goes to his rescue.

- Notable Facts

  • Stinger is a feared mercenary, known by the nickname of "The Fisherman" because luring in his prey and watching them suffer comes as easily to him as shooting fish in a barrel.

  • Stinger uses a paralyzing toxin when targeting humans and Zoids alike, as most cockpits aren't air tight. This can also be mixed into food, and doesn't prevent the victim from talking. It wears off in about an hour, and Stinger himself carries a gas mask to avoid its effects.

  • Stinger, after immobilizing Metternich's group, announces that he wants in on the deal for a 70% cut. Unable to fight, they have no choice but to agree.

  • In this episode, Bang had seriously considered never piloting a Zoid again, and simply returning to the Wind Colony.
