- Episode 26: Memories of Zi

Summary

             

 After the Shield Liger's evolution into the Blade Liger, Fine begins to see mysterious memories from her past. Dr. D, recognizing this, assesses that she may be an Ancient Zoidian, a member of a lost civilization that we still know little about. She isn't given much time to explore such thoughts before the group is attacked by the Crossbow Brothers, bandits on the hunt for an Organoid. Their Organoid.

- Notable Facts


  • After their failed attempt to assassinate Rudolph, Metternich first tries to tell Prozen that they were successful and were simply waiting a few days for the body to be returned. Prozen sees right through this.

  • Without the imperial ring, Rudolph would be unable to become emperor.

  • Stinger drinks milk at bars instead of alcohol.

  • Stinger is said to often tell outlandish stories.

  • The Crossbow Brothers didn't used to hang out in imperial territory, but had to seek out additional work due to peace time.

  • While discussing the evolution of the Shield Liger, Dr. D claimed that it wasn't actually anything unusual, as gaining experience and increasing their abilities naturally leads to a more evolved form. However, he also notes that it was unusual how fast that evolution happened, even with the Organoid factored in.

  • Fine was first recognized to be an Ancient Zoidian by Dr. D, who mentioned that long ago, the desert used to be covered in flowers, which triggered Fine's memory that they'd been yellow. Dr. D believes her memories started to come back when she was fused with Sieg for such a prolonged period of time, and that Ancient Zoidians and Organoids had a special relationship. They were said to go everywhere together, and there was a legend that when Zoidians entered their long sleep, that their memories were sealed and stored inside the Organoids. Fine, unfortunately, answers that she remembers very little, possibly because Bang merged with Sieg before she did.

  • Prozen claimed that Rudolph was killed by Republican agents who'd entered imperial territory with an elite squad of assassins. He claimed that it was Emperor Zeppelin's will that if something were to happen to Rudolph, that he ascend to the throne in his place, and used this to take control of the Empire as the new ruler of the 'Prozen Dynasty.'

  • After Raven destroys a base, a group shows up to freeze the Zoid Cores. The crew has hazmat gear, and loads the cores in special containers onto a unique Gustav.

  • Fine is able to telepathically summon Sieg.

  • The Crossbow Brothers use an attack formation called Heaven and Hell, in which Albert jumps up from the ground, firing down at the enemy before disappearing back into the sands, while Ross follows up.
