- Episode 29: Heroes of the Sky

Summary

             

 When Bang and Irvine disagree over what route to take, they make it a contest. However, Bang's shortcut takes them disturbingly close to a former imperial air base that, unbeknownst to the group, has received major payoffs from Regent Prozen. Things quickly get messy when the commander of the base, Ralph, determines Rudolph is the imposter they're looking for, and sends state-of-the-art Black Redlers to eliminate the threat.

- Notable Facts


  • Rosso introduces himself as Ala Barone, Italian for Baron of Wings, while Viola introduces herself as the Sword of Storms.

  • Ebonei Air Base, as far as Rudolph remembered, only had 2 Redlers at one point. However, after the unit was put under the direct command of Prozen, they received a huge surplus of Black Redlers in order to deal with rebel territories. The base was destroyed by Schwarz in order to protect Rudolph, but Ralph and his subordinates still retained a number of Black Redlers after the incident.

  • The Redler units refer to themselves as the Eisenbeck Unit.

  • The Storm Sworders launched from Red River. They were originally supposed to run a test flight, but were commandeered by Rosso and Viola, seemingly with Dr. D's suspicion that it would be the case.

  • Schwarz was Rudolph's trainer in a battle simulation course at Milotos Castle.

  • It's implied that Sieg may have trouble fusing to the Blade Liger if the Zoid is in motion.

  • Rosso and Viola introduce themselves with a speech.
