- Notable Facts

  • The call sign of the Black Redler unit pilots is Black Angel.

  • Prozen confessed to having been responsible for Bang's father's death when he sent the 3rd Division of the Imperial Army to acquire an Organoid. He recognized Bang's combat moves as being similar to his father's.

  • The Death Saurer's power is derived from the energy of Zoid Cores that were taken to contribute to its development. In the show, this was depicted as Prozen dumping cores into the water chamber that the Death Saurer was being developed in. Dr. D noted that this meant the Death Saurer's core was compressed several times more than a normal Zoid Core, and that hitting it was their only chance of destroying the Zoid, as it'd cause the core to detonate.

  • In this episode Irvine piloted a black and red Gojulas loaded out with additional equipment. Though the color scheme differed, the supporting media for the anime specifies that this is Gojulas The Ogre, a nod to his Zoid in the Official Fan Books.

  • The Storm Sworders in this episode use Triple Sword Missiles, special diamond-tip-shaped spears that were installed in place of the wing and head swords.

  • The Blade Liger's blades emit small electron pulse vibrations that neutralize charged particles, which is what allowed him to reach the Death Saurer and, in an earlier episode, Raven's Geno Saurer.
