The Gilraptor Rare Bone Ver. 2023 was released as a limited-time kit sold at the 2023 Dinosaur Expo. It was released alongside Ankyrox Rare Bone Ver. 2023, with the two meant to symbolize the exhibit's key graphic, featuring a battle between Zuul, an ankylosaurid, and Maip, a megaraptorid. The kit featured bone white armor and a black frame with dark reddish-brown caps, quite an iconic scheme also used in the old Tomy motorized kits that were also featured at this long-running exhibit.
