In the last couple of RMZ kits TT has started including the teaser images on the website, as well! That means that we got a new reveal with the Urban Wuf's page, the Shield Liger Mark II! It'll be interesting to see how they approach this variant, which has historically been plagued by fragile parts in the weapon attachments. That being said, of all the be-cannoned Shieldies, MK-II is my personal favorite, ever since seeing its antique-looking color scheme in Saga I.
During the Blade Liger Panzer announcements they also revealed the next new RMZ to be the Irvine Special Lightning Saix! This is an interesting choice, as there's lots of potential for what they could do here. This cat looks like it'll have some giant murder mittens!
We've started seeing more info about the Command Wolf Urban Warfare Special, starting with a cool teaser image! This marks the first time that this Command Wolf variant is receiving a model kit release. The added Rocket Launchers can rotate up and down. The newly-designed head, which is different from the standard RMZ Command Wolf (lacking some of the throat floof) allows for a greater range of motion and, of course, it comes with all the parts needed to make a basic Command Wolf so you can enjoy the greater range on the default Zoid. The kit is scheduled to release in August for 5,940 Yen (tax included.)
A new page is available for the RMZ-016 Blade Liger Panzer! It has lots of nice photos and some concept art. The kit is scheduled to release in July for 9,900 yen. A promotional image was posted for it a while back along with a video preview. Hobby Watch also posted an interview of the kit and it looks absolutely stunning. The Blade Liger with the Panzer mane looks particularly cool.
A post from a while back for the RMZ-15 Saber Tiger Raven Spec. showed that the Zoid comes with a pilot figure of Raven as well as a little Shadow figure. The Shadow figure has the wings stowed, so is different from the one being distributed with Raven's Geno Saurer. You can find concept art on its page (first link). This kit is scheduled to release in June for 7,150 yen (tax included.)
The RMZ-009 Iron Kong released recently! You can view lots of photos on the site along with some concept art. SigemikanZ, customizer of the box art models also posted a nice look at both the detailed-up Kong and the box art.
A new post about the Raven Saber shows even more updates regarding the custom broken armor pieces of the kit. It not only includes the bare claws and face, which we knew from earlier photos, but even includes a shredded silver lower leg piece for the left leg, and a torn off right-leg. It's still unclear if this part is a custom piece or if the leg would normally be assembled around it, but either way, it's pretty cool! Pre-orders expected to open in November.
The 63rd All Japan Model Hobby Show is starting tomorrow, and we've seen a heaping ton of exciting reveals. T-Spark will be among those exhibiting at the event. Perhaps one of the most exciting developments was the launch of a new animated video, Zoids Battle Films. In this animated short we see multiple toylines featured, including RMZ and HMM, with a peculiar Death Saurer reminiscent of the Concept Art universe. We have no context yet about this animation. If it's a one off, why certain pilots seem so familiar, or what to expect going forward. For now, though? It's exciting to have a new animation. At the start, I almost thought it'd be the battle of Valhalla. I have to admit, seeing Falcon viewed in a doomier light was such a cool perspective.
Well this one came out of left field! RMZ has announced a new variant, the RMZ-016 Blade Liger Panzer, scheduled for Winter 2025! This Zoid is... exactly what it sounds like- An RMZ Blade Liger with Panzer armor installed. It featured as a primary character in the Zoids Battle Films short (well, sort of, they used an HMM, but still!) and was announced alongside the other armor. The prototype is on display at the venue, and Hobby Watch, Dengeki Hobby, and AmiAmi have both posted photos. I'm rather curious if this armor will fit the following kit...
Alongside the Blade Liger Panzer, RMZ also announced a Liger Zero Falcon, scheduled for 2026!! This kit featured as the other key protagonist of the animated short, sporting Liger Zero armor for the rear legs. It seems the RMZ will be fully clad, and will be the first Zero we're getting in the line! It's interesting to start with one of the less popular armors.
A new group photo of the RMZ display at the event reveals for the very first time that RMZ is planning to also do the Command Wolf Urban Warfare Spec. from Episode 16 of Chaotic Century! (Name subject to change; the text isn't very visible.) This episode was so iconic to me when I was younger, so I'm stoked that they're making an official kit of it!
The prototype for the RMZ Zabat is on display at the event! Not only do they have two of them around to show off the articulation, but it also seems like this Zoid will come with a special hangar bay with bars in it. This means the Zabat will probably be able to hang upside down, like a real bat, which was one of the coolest features of the old Tomy kit.
The first promo image of the RMZ Saber Tiger Raven Spec. brings with it the announcement that pre-orders are starting in November. Even more interesting, however, is that it includes broken armor pieces for the face! In the recently-broadcasted stream we got to see that it had peeled claws, but it's awesome to know they're going the fully distance and including the damaged maw of this hateful Zoid. It also has a display at the event.
The RMZ Saber Tiger Raven was shown off in a recent live stream by T-Spark. This is our first look at the actual kit, if I'm not mistaken, and shows that it'll include all the standard weapons, optional blue or red leg armor, and optional splayed claws based loosely off of the armor-peeled Saber Tiger from the anime. The stream featured the RMZ Geno Saurer Raven, Shield D. Prime, RMZ Red Horn, Saber Tiger Raven, AZ Canory Molga, and a variety of others.
A page is now up for the Red Horn Guylos Color, with some shout out promo art. It stays much truer to the original, almost looking cute from the side view while looking rather fierce from the front. It includes all the parts you'd expect, with a nice range of motion. The kit is scheduled to release in May 2026 for 6,600 yen (tax included).
SigemikanZ over on X, who works on a lot of the customs used in official promotional art posted images of the customs used for the RMZ Blade Liger and Command Wolf Irvine! I highly recommend checking out their work. They also do a lot of cool customs.
Takara Tomy held an exhibit at the Shanghai Wonder Festival 2025 event, with their booth featuring a giant RMZ Blade Liger! Its been a bit since we've seen some of these giant Zoids, so it's nice to see them make a return. The venue sold some T-shirts featuring RMZ box art graphics or the T-Spark logo, and also had a sale of more RMZ Blade Liger Mirages.
On the list of new products we also have an official page for the Shield Liger Bang Special! The page includes some (frankly adorable) concept art and a ton of pictures. This kit is expected to release in March 2026 for 6,600 yen (tax included).
At the end of the Shield Liger video, we got two new announcements, with the first being the RMZ Saber Tiger Raven Special! The first Saber to release is planned to be the Schwarz, so this will be our first 'standard' equipment Saber Tiger.
The even more surprising second reveal was the RMZ Zabat! Zabat has gotten woefully few kits over the years, and its always been a Zoid with some interesting quirks and gimmicks. Seeing how TT will tackle a redesign of this Zoid should be interesting!
